FCA Motocross camp is a unique experience of inspiration and perspiration. We build our curriculum, schedule, and activities from years of experience in FCA sports ministry (since 1956) and motocross specifically (since 2003), to ensure that your camper has the best Christian Motocross Camp experience possible. We start our morning waking up our minds and bodies with a workout and devotion time, spend our day training in our discipline, and then come together in the evenings for Chapel services and fun camp activities!
This camp is for males and females, children (ages 6-17), and adults (18+). We also welcome all skill levels. We do suggest some ride time on a bike but do not require campers to have racing experience. You must have your own dirt bike at camp (see the ‘bike checklist’ for more details).
At select camps, there is an option for adults to register as a ‘Non-Camper’ or ‘Non-Rider’. This option is for adults who would like to stay at camp, but no riding is allowed for them. Non-Campers will not be able to stay with their camper (camper are assigned to Huddles – see below), but rather will be assigned to one of our adult lodging options.
Our campers will spend their week in assigned groups of 8-10 campers called ‘Huddles’. These huddles are based on age and bike size (for age-appropriate discussions/Bible study and safety on the track). Each Huddle is assigned two Huddle Leaders. These leaders are responsible for campers for the week; lodging, eating, training, and doing Bible study together. These Huddle Leaders are hand-picked according to their spiritual maturity and relationship skills. All Huddle Leaders go through our Ministry Leadership Application Process, which includes a background check. Adult campers will be assigned to an adult Huddle.
We have challenging training for each type of rider! The track is split into training stations with an instructor at each station teaching a different technique. Every camper will experience training from each instructor. Each day will look a little different as we change around the training. Each huddle will be able to receive training at each station throughout the week. The instructors are not required to be Christians because we are not asking them to spiritually lead the campers, although we are blessed with great Christian MX instructors that may serve as both the MX or Offroad instructor and the huddle leader.
Registration for camp happens online. Visit our different camp webpages for registration links. Once your camper is registered for camp you will be receiving more details about that specific camp.
When you register you will pay either the full amount or only the deposit. If you pay only the deposit, your credit card will be automatically charged at least two weeks before camp. (see camp pages for more specific date details and contact information).
We do not require a parent to attend camp with their child. Once the camper is signed in on the first day, parents are free to leave.
I would personally like to thank you for the opportunities you have given my son Logan at your mx camp. Because of the great teaching from everyone he has gone from dead last in points the last two years to first in his age group this year. He is so excited and can't wait till camp again this year. Thank you very much for everything you do for these kids.
